Woodworm is a charming and creative little PICO-8 based puzzle game where a woodworm gnaws its way through wooden blocks to create sculptures.
In each level of Woodworm you are presented with a target shape and a square block of wood. You then need to burrow your way through the block of wood so that the resulting shape matches the target shape. Things start off easy, but it’s not long until you come across some seemingly impossible shapes that require you to think outside the box a little.
It’s a great little game that perfectly executes its simple premise. It’s very easy to pick up and play, but thanks to some devious puzzle design you’ll really have to think and plan your moves to get some of the solutions. Highly recommended.
