The Market of Light is a beautiful and chilled out little Unreal Engine 5 powered photorealistic exploration game where a firefly collects orbs of light scattered around a rustic marketplace.
Part game, part Unreal Engine 5 tech demo, The Market of Light sees you controlling a little firefly as it swoops around a marketplace collecting orbs of light. The gameplay is fairly simple – you just fly around collecting the white orbs of light then go for a little crawl to collect the colored ones.
What’s really impressive about The Market of Light are the photorealistic Unreal Engine 5 powered visuals though. The scene looks incredible as you fly around in the air, but when you land on objects to collect the colored orbs the level of detail is mindblowing. It’s a jaw-dropping experience and you’ll never truly appreciate the beauty of a carrot until you’ve crawled along one through an archway of raspberries!
