The Alchemist’s House is an extremely weird and surreal little horror game where you find yourself trapped in a strange house with grotesque plasticine-skinned monstrosities.
In The Alchemist’s House you take on the role of an orphaned and homeless boy who is invited into a stranger’s house. However, it soon turns out that the stranger is very strange and the house is even stranger. Will you survive?
To say much about the plot of The Alchemist’s House will spoil it, but needless to say is starts off weird and just gets weirder from there. The voice acting is very odd and the artstyle and animation of the characters is very unsettling, with them all looking like they’ve been carved out of some sort of fleshy plasticine. Even close-up cutscenes where your host talks to you feel very disconcerting and when you meet the other inhabitants of the house it really comes into its own. Highly recommended.
