Egg Fried Rice is a strange little retro styled horror game where a late night craving for food takes a dark turn.
In Egg Fried Rice it’s the middle of the night and you can’t get to sleep because you’re too hungry. There’s nothing to eat in the house, but there is a Chinese takeaway nearby so you drive over and order some egg fried rice. But then things start to get weird as a mysterious stranger starts making your life a misery. Who is he and why is he doing it?
It is quite a slow burn and it could do with some checkpoints so you can get the other endings without playing through the whole game again, but it’s a fun little horror game with a nice mixture of scares and surreal oddity. And the egg fried rice does look quite tasty!
